Correct PSI should be determined by tire temperatures and wear, at least partially. Setup has some to do with it as well but since you can't easily change camber (with strut mount plates) it's a bit less important here. IMO what happened sounds like a technique problem, not a tire pressure...

For the record, they work. I purchased 07-09 GT500 wheels and am running my factory 2011+ valve stem TPMS in them with no issues so far.

Good to hear. I'm aware of the frequency difference, it's just strange that LMR says that they won't work. They make it sound like a physical limitation of the wheel.

IMO I'd run 275/40 on them, but as others have said, you can fit 285's as well. Anything wider starts to get a bit pinched.

Mine are 275/40/18, but I had them on 10" wheels. IMO, that's the ideal daily driver size, particularly if you run them on 9.5's.

From everything I've heard, they're just better versions of the RS3. They like heat, like slightly higher PSI (at least my RS3's did), and are sticky and wear well for what they are. Well suited for a big car like our mustangs.
