I just paid $465 for a two day event at VIR with 3 thirty minute sessions and a two hour open track session each day.

I am one of those guys who is just trying to have fun with a car he loves. Lap times are the last thing I am worried about, I try to drive at a pace that is exhilarating, but not terrifying. As I get more seat time, that pace gradually increases without my really pushing, or even noticing...

I have the poly/rod end BMR LCA's and they do a little creaking and popping. When I installed a BMR, rod-end Watts Link, everything was dead quiet back there, even the LCA noise was gone (I am guessing because of less lateral loading/movement during suspension travel, but IDK). Dead quiet for...

Thanks Norm. Have you ever heard of it being caused by hard braking on road courses with sticky tires, or just by mis-placed jacking?

I have recently run across information suggesting that the s197 floor pan is at risk of distortion/buckling where the rear leg of the k member anchors. The info came from a pretty reputable source, but I can't find much of anything about it anywhere else. Anyone here have anything on it?

Not for me! The TA/WL have achieved decisive victory, internet arguments about how many angles can dance on the head of a pinion not withstanding. (I think that was pretty damn good, especially considering I am only half way through my first cup of coffee!)

Careful Norm. It sounds like you are pretty close to committing the logical error of believing what you have actually experienced over what you read on an internet car forum.

The TA has done exactly what Griggs said it would. Arguments to the contrary would require me to ignore my direct experience in order to believe them, and that would be a silly thing to do.
