    Lifting at high speed

I appreciate the helpful responses. The hood is going to be changed out soon for something with hood vents, and I it looks like I'll be getting the APR front splitter for the GT/CS.

    Lifting at high speed

Glad to hear others arent feeling lift. Really happy for you. Doesnt really solve my issue though. I get vibration and shaking in my hood as well, but it's fiberglass and I kinda expected it. I installed some Shelby hood pins and havent had an issue with it since. I'm just not a fan of the...

    Lifting at high speed

Above 100 is where I feel it. Closer to 120 or 130 is more accurate. It doesn't feel as responsive at that point, and it just feels like it got lighter.

    Lifting at high speed

So, admittedly, I know little to nothing about aerodynamics. I've noticed lately that my 08 GT/CS start to feel like its lifting at speeds above 100. It starts to feel like it's almost floating. So far, its lowered, with Koni shocks and struts, with a GT500 rear spoiler. What else can be done to...

What have you done to your mustang today?

Got bored, took some acetone to my steering wheel. The paint was all scratched up from years of abuse, I think it looks a ton better now

    Lito Tunes

Payment through PayPal and everything he does is through email. He'll send a baseline tune, with instructions on how to datalog with his specific config file. Send him back your datalog, and he'll revise the tune, send it back, and you'll install and datalog until it's fine tuned. Took me a day...

Need to pick some brains... Hot Rod Cam Installation.

+2 on Lito. He just tuned my build and it runs great. 0 drivability issues You'll have to datalog each revision, but he'll get it dialed in within 3 to 4 revisions depending on your mods.

Need to pick some brains... Hot Rod Cam Installation.

Ok, stupid question, but did you install the phaser on the cam, and then put the chain on? When I did mine, the stock cam rotated a bit when I removed the phaser. I put my Hot Rod cam back in, and had to use channel locks with a rag to turn the cam a little to get it to seat in the phaser...

Thanks! Funny thing about the rubber on the CAI, I just flipped the blue ones inside out. Easiest mod I've done lol

    TPMS Bypass

There's already a writeup on here about how to do it with Forscan. https://www.s197forum.com/threads/tmps-disable.135609/

    TPMS Bypass

Forscan is free. Change a line of code and bam, no light. Only thing I paid for was the MS CAN/HS CAN plug switch on Amazon. Cost me $30 and allowed me to do a lot of different things to the car, including access PATS for new key programming. Was also able to delete TPMS from my 08. Havent...

    Score another one for Lito

Same experience I was having. Seemed like it was constantly hunting for an idle after I installed cams and put in the Bama tune. First baseline tune from Lito idled high for a minute, then settled right at 740. Didnt budge a bit from there after that. Also had issues with sputtering/missing...

    Score another one for Lito

Just recently finished up a cam, intake, throttle body, and injector build, and couldn't get it to run quite right with my previous tuner. I got ahold of Lito, and in one day got it driving like a completely different beast. Throttle response is perfect, and you can tell it just wants to run...

    2008 GT Bogging Intermittently

One thing that will help, is an oil catch can. It may not solve the immediate problem, but it'll prevent oil buildup in the intake further down the line. If you decide to go that route, pick up the driver side catch. You can throw one on the passenger side, but it doesnt produce enough to worry...

    Hot Rod Cam install questions

I recently did a Hot Rod cam install on my high mileage GT/CS. Only thing I replaced while I was in there was the phasers and solenoids, since one of the phasers fell apart when I removed it. Figured I'd just replace both at the same time. Other than that, it was all still good. I put it all...

    Better ride with smaller tires?

My main concern now is load capacity, and from I've been able to get is that, while they're small, they're still ok to drive. Eventually I guess I'll go back up to 45/40, but all the tires I had on when I bought the car were either balding or torn entirely so I needed new ones fast. Front and...

    Better ride with smaller tires?

Here's the info I was able to download from their site on this specific tire. All are set at 50 psi currently. Starting to think I just made a very expensive mistake.

    Better ride with smaller tires?

How do you mean? Front tires are a 93Y rating, and the rear are a 96Y. They're Nexen N'Fera SU1 tires front and back. Should I have gone wider up front? I went with the same width that came with the car, but didnt care much for the height so I went a little shorter.

    TMPS disable

Cant say enough how much this helped. I've had that light since I bought the car, and today its finally gone! Really starting to like FORScan. As soon as I changed the number on the IC, it immediately went away and hasnt come on since.

    Better ride with smaller tires?

So I got an 08 GT/CS back in July that came with 245/45R19 Goodyear Eagles in the front, and 275/40R19 Firestone Firehawks in the back. The ride was a little rough, but I took that as normal because the car was lowered. I replaced all 4 tires with 245/35R19 Nexens in front, with 275/30R19...
