The alu WAP blocks from explorers where 2V and used a 2V cover, this will match the 4V covers too, so I am quite sure he will have the same issue you had if using a 3V cover there. I am curious now comparing a 3V cover from a 3V explorer that all came with iron blocks.

I'm sorry, I was originally quoting eighty but failed to do it correctly. Is edited now but yes, all the broken parts of a blown engine can (and usually will) enter a supercharger thru the bypass.

And BTW, depends on who this dyno tuner is, most of the times an experienced platform specific tuner like Lund, KenB, VMP (or me, depending on platform) will know better. A dyno doesn't make a tuner/tune better just because of it.

That is something anyone that considers itself a tuner and knows the car and swap process should do. If you have that issue with a Lund tune just tell them the swap you did and that you are running what transmission with it and need your OSS holes adjusted.

Well, we had a 2012 one, bought new from Ford, no idea on what calibration is in it and it wobbled at speed as some others have reported back then, we then went with the FR as that seemed to work for the 11+ cars that had the issue and we have installed three of those without a single issue.

For me, this is a half assed Ford "solution" so to keep selling parts, I have the same feeling with the new slaves, they cost a third of the old ones. I've had customers that bought the new sensors from Ford and had issues and ended getting NTK aftermarket ones. I hope to be very off in this...
