    2006 GT with a hesitation

When you test for AC ripple turn on headlights and a/c blower to high to load the system down.

    2006 GT with a hesitation

That is the exact thing that happened with mine. Had pump replaced on TSB a few years back, never had problem again.

    Front control arm issue

If the end of the control arm was a machined thickness then that ridge would be tight against arm, but since it is a stamped hole from the top, there is no control on metal on bottom of hole. The ball joints are pressed in from bottom to be flush with top side of plate on top.

    Front control arm issue

I bought 500 arms awhile back and noticed same thing, look on top side of arm, if ball joint is flush there, they are okay. The metal on bottom of doesn't matter.

    Catch can and engine sound??

You do realize if you ever do drive with this, you will get oil vapor residue all over everything under your hood.:thud:

    Vibration in wheel

Might try lubing that bumpsteer joint with a big shot of WD40, looks dry and if its binding while turning could cause vibration. EDIT: Not a long term solution, just test to see if solves problem.

    WTB 1 18x9 Magnum 500 wheel

Need 1 18x9 Magnum 500 wheel for accident replacement. American Muscle style, I think the ones Cruisin Concepts sold are the same.

    06 Alternator

I have an '06, when I switched to the +'07 crossover tube I had to grind the corner of the '06 bracket near the T-stat and drill a new mounting hole in it and made a small spacer to work with '07 tube.

What have you done to your mustang today?

The noise you hear in CB is more than from alternator. The drive by wire system puts out a lot of RF noise, if you put your antenna on a long cable and have somebody move it away from car you will hear it quite down. Filter on power line helps a little, but RF noise coming in antenna can only...

    Cooling system?

How does the inside of the pump look, does it look like they tried to run sealer thru it to fix a problem. Do you know the history of motor or was it from salvage yard.

    Cooling system?

If you have the old octopus style that hangs on hose infront of engine, the t-stat spring will be up, pointed to hose that goes to top of engine. If you have the newer style with only one hose and t-stat in crossover tube, the spring will be down into crossover.

    Cooling system?

Does it ever stop bubbleing from the bleeder when the cooling system is full? If not problem. When you had pump off did the impeller look okay, not gummed up or broken blades. Should spin freely. I found my old octopus set up and in that the t-stat spring is up when installed. I went to...

    Cooling system?

I see in first post that this is an engine swap, is it a new rebuilt or used engine. Possible water pump bad, low flow at higher rpms? With coolant tank cap removed run engine and look for any bubbles, should tell you if any head gasket leaks. As said above radiator plugged, should be even temp...

What Mustang do I have Here?

Looks like a stock intake tube, so no tune required. I get asked if mine is a Mach 1 when they see the Magnum 500 wheels, I just say no, modified GT.

What Mustang do I have Here?

No factory s197 Mach 1's, somebodies home build.
  16. J2L06GT

    Cooling system?

Do you have the newer crossover tube with only one hose on top of engine, if so spring should be down into engine. If you have 2 hoses on top of engine with t-stat mounted in octopus I'm not sure.
  17. J2L06GT

    Cooling system?

If its in backwards it will cause problem, easy to do, spring should be on hot side.

    Cooling system?

Remove t-stat and see what happens.

    Slotted/Dimpled Rotors - Clicking Noise

Thats the first time I've seen that info, the vents in mine are straight but the rotors from PowerSlot were stamp with a L and R and I remember the instructions said install drivers side L. Been running this way for +30k miles with no problems.

    Slotted/Dimpled Rotors - Clicking Noise

No such thing as a stupid question. Haha. Yes, I believe so. The vanes inside the rotors are straight finned but I installed both front and rear in this direction (picture of my rotors). I have PowerSlot brand rotors, no dimples, they had a L and R on them. I just looked at them and the...

What else could cause a TAC code

Have you tried removing intake tube so you can watch TB butterflies and have another person 'turn on key, don't try to start' then after dash stop beeping, slowly push gas pedal down to see if butterflies react, this should tell you if PCM has any control, also might try wiggeling plugs on...

What else could cause a TAC code

Have you checked major electrical connectors for any moisture or corrosion, thats the problem with all this high tech shit, doesn't take much to throw it wacky. How much would we all pay someone for a throttle cable conversion!

What else could cause a TAC code

Don't see how they could, have you done any rewiring, following your post looks like you have multiple issues.
