    Time to setup a VPN

I've tried it on my ROUTER to where everything is running through the VPN service and it works but there are pitfalls to doing that. For example netflix knows when you are using a VPN and will throw an error and won't play. Some VPN providers do offer a dedicated static IP to remedy this...

Oil return question for turbo install.

Also the fact that the oil is whipped like cream is another reason to drain the pan. I wouldn't want the oil pump trying to run oil that's the consistency of foam through it. That's the reason oil return lines are supposed to be so large, it's because of the consistency of the oil.

Fuel Fill Issue. Sorry to bring this up again

Holding the nozzle 180 degrees from normal (upside down) works for me.

    Time to setup a VPN

Sounds like what you are talking about is similar to trying to use Kodi. What I mean by that is some ISPs will block Kodi traffic and one of the ways to get around it is to use a paid for VPN service. By doing this you have an encrypted connection between you and the VPN so your ISP has no...

    Time to setup a VPN

It really depends on what you are trying to use the VPN for. Are you trying to obfuscate your identity to use things like KODI or surf "anonymously" or are you just trying to get a secure connection while NOT at home and using public WIFI?

    Just my luck...

I would be willing to bet a left hand drill bit would get that antenna out. Maybe use a small punch to leave an indention so the bit doesn't walk on you. Once that bit starts to bite it will most likely unscrew it out.

Detonation with SCT X4. 2010 GT

Most of the power is in the tune anyway. I started with a canned tune first, made a big difference. I then put on a JLTII intake. I didn't notice any real improvement over the stock one at that power level. Take it for what's it worth but my canned SCT tunes rattled as well on the 93 octane...

Detonation with SCT X4. 2010 GT

That intake most likely doesn't require a tune. It probably has the factory sized MAF. Which Airaid is it, the MXP? If so it doesn't require tuning. "NO Computer Re-Tune Required w/ Modular Venturi Tube Installed". What kind and what octane gas is in it right now?

Bama is saying they can't turn off Rear O2's

I just leave the non-foulers in. The mustang doesn't get driven that much anymore. Mostly just for pleasure driving. I hear you on the fox body though. I also have a 1984 Mustang SVO as a project car. Actually the easiest way to pass inspection is to keep your car completely stock. Who...

Bama is saying they can't turn off Rear O2's

While a tune will certainly get rid of the CEL he still might have a problem passing inspection. I can turn off my rear O2's with my Pro Racer Package but every year I would have to put my factory setup in just to pass inspection. My VMP tune fails as well. In my state they hook up to the...

Bama is saying they can't turn off Rear O2's

Do you have bungs that the O2 sensors can go in? I have an ORH with my rear O2's installed and no CEL. I got tired of taking them in and out just to pass inspection so I left them in with the sparkplug non-fouler trick and it's been like that for years, no problems.

Alternator brand recommendations ABS & code P0340

I'm not familiar enough with the KB setup to know why the Denso won't work. If you pull up pictures of all 3 REMY units 12983 (2010 DENSO unit), 23795 (factory 2007 6G), and the 12622 (2007 Crown Vic Mitsubishi unit) you can see the differences. The 23795 and the 12622 are pretty much the same...

Alternator brand recommendations ABS & code P0340

No I haven't. I haven't done anything that would warrant my system to pull that many AMPS yet. If I had a killer audio system or something I would. If you do decide to do the main power wire upgrade it wouldn't be hard to do though. At the time when I bought the REMY 12622 I got it right...

Alternator brand recommendations ABS & code P0340

They are wrong. The alternator is "physically" the same as far as the case goes but the isolator on the back points up and will hit the manifold. You can read and see the details here https://www.s197forum.com/threads/alternator-issue.114768/page-4#post-2078532 . Once you unbolt the isolator...

Check out this page .. https://www.s197forum.com/threads/alternator-issue.114768/page-4#post-2078532 There's a description and then scroll down for pics. Don't remember the exact REMY part number but it fits a 2007 Crown Vic (Police Interceptor) 230AMP.

Alternator brand recommendations ABS & code P0340

I used the 2007 Crown Vic 215 AMP (Police interceptor) alternator on my mustang. It a Mitsubishi and not a Denso. It's been GREAT!

Full bolt on, full bolt on/cammed and nitrous 1/4 mile times

Not sure what to speculate for your 1/4mi times but I would be datalogging your fuel pump duty cycle when using nitrous. You might be getting close to maxing it out. Also if you plan on going turbo you will need to upgrade the pump anyway.

    Air conditioning recharge question

This is absolutely correct. Also the condensation very well might be from when the compressor kicks off (ie wide open throttle). When that happens you will be pumping air with a high moisture content through a system that's cold. When that happens you will certainly develop condensation...

    Connect the wires O.O

Believe it or not I've got two sensors, one that came with the kit and an extra one. Both read fine to this day. I just wanted to have one as a backup. Just remember to have it hooked up and on if it's the exhaust stream. Having it mounted without it being on and functional can screw it up...

    Connect the wires O.O

Good! You still will need to figure what color wire corresponds to the tip of the connector of that stereo connector. Just use a simply digital volt and ohm meter to find out which is which. Good luck.

    Connect the wires O.O

IIRC the "ground" in the stereo wire picture would go to the "Gnd" (black) on the firewire. The output 1 and output 2 on the stereo jack correlate be the Analog 1 (or 2 depending on which way you wire it) and the analog "Gnd". Without seeing my wire in front of me I would guess that the red...

    Connect the wires O.O

You are probably thinking it's more complicated than it really is. In theory you shouldn't have to change your setup at all, you just need to make an addition. The LM1 kit came with a 2.5mm analog stereo cable. It had the connector on one side and just wires on the other side. Like this...

    Connect the wires O.O

I have a couple of questions first. The X4 is supposed to have two analog inputs, what kind are they? Also how does your XD-16 hook up to the LM1, with the patch cable? The XD-16 is just a 2 wire input on the round connector correct?
