Upgraded from a 2006 gt to a 2015 GT with Performance Package. And damn I love this car!

I decided not to do an extended warranty. Was going to cost too much. I did check carfax and no known issues. I'll juts put money aside incase issues come up.

I got my car at a BMW dealership. I kept my last mustang for 9 years. So Ford tried to get me into a 8 year warranty for $3,500. I said no thank you. Its out of basic warranty by 500ish miles. They said they would help me on that. I'm thinking about a 3 or 4 year one.

I'm going to keep it stock for now. Maybe a CAI and exhaust in the future.

I purchased a Priority Start unit. Hopefully that will get me by until I can get a new car. I'll install it tonight.

The problem is that it's not draining for them. They have had it for 2 weeks. That's how they found that the SJB was bad.

Welp Ford says they can't find any problem. It's not doing it to them. They suggested getting a Battery Buddy??? WTF!

That is probably what's next. I am also considering taking it to Dallas where the mechanics are better than Shreveport. They are having the mechanic drive it home for a few days hoping he will notice anything different. Or that maybe it will die for him too.

Yet another update on this damn car! 6-15-17 dead battery. Jumped it off 6-17-17 car was hesitant to start. Went ahead and replaced battery. 7-10-17 dead battery. Jumped it off. 7-23-17 same as above. 7-24-17 same as above. Ford had now had my car for two weeks straight. They are baffled...

They want me to come and pick the car up. The battery hasn't drained since they have had it. Maybe they reseated and cleaned connections?? Doesn't sound very assuring. They said "if" it does it again to call them and dont jump it off and they will tow it......ughhh

No aftermarket amps were installed. The fuse for the aftermarket radio was pulled and it would still die overnight.

The car would die over night. But not all the time. I could be wrong but I don't think it's the alternator.
