I guess I wasn't very clear, I did not get a cable hooked up to it, just moved it manually into gear from the bottom. Putting it in Drive, with it on the lift I could not get it to shift. I traced the wires going to the plug on the rear of the trans, they are going to two switches that are wired...

Yes it bolts right up, you'll need all the other small parts and wiring harness for it to work, plus tuning for it. Seems like they're holding up fine from what I've read. Hoping its a 6r80, not something halfway done.

You can dress it up any way you want, the VIN tells you what it is. It's a real GT500. Guess we'll find out tomorrow, I'm driving over to pick it up first thing in the morning.

I went with ATI for my GT500 after reading about a few IW failures. I have yet to install it, not even sure that I will. Seems like a few have had crank failures with the IW, if I'm not mistaken Lethal Performance had a failure running one.

Adjustable shocks/struts are always a good way to go, along with some lowering springs and lca relocation brackets. If your rear axle is off center after lowering then you'll want an adjustable panhard bar. That should be a pretty solid setup for a street car. I'd do that and some sticky tires...

Running BMR LCA relocation brackets, steeda billet lca's, BMR Panhard bar and brace, BMR springs, stock shocks/struts. It spins, but it goes in a straight line. Very happy with the ride quality as well.
