Actually looks like maybe the OP does have upgraded idler plate, but just doesn't have the extra pulley on it? Looks like the hole is there where it would go. It does look like the newer version of the kit. It takes some legwork to get it done, but it could be upgraded to the extreme...

I had this same issue on my early '05 V6. Threaded inserts on the passenger side but none on the driver side. Emailed Steeda about it more than once and never did get a response. My late '05 GT had both sides. Post part numbers or a link for the rivet nuts you use if they work out!

I'm assuming the pickup on the FT140 filter is longer than than FT142 filter that is standard. Do you (or anyone) know how much longer it is than stock? I have a Trickflow pan that is approx 1 inch deeper than stock and wondering if this filter would work with it.
