Mine was shifting slowly and I mentioned it on a service visit. They found a leaking seal.

I might have had a problem with and SCT tuner one time. It happened when I might have introduced a power fluctuation while uploading the tune. I might have done this by getting bored and playing with accessories. Just sayin'.

On my SCT tuner with Bama tunes I can set the shift firmness myself under "options" when uploading the tune.

I'll check the lca's. I'm thinking dr's are my next purchase.

I was letting the auto shift but it was breaking loose on every shift. When I feathered the throttle get traction it would sometimes upshift again. That gave me a 13.6 or so. :(

Yeah, started off that way, all I got was spin. Been launching from idle and it works about as well.

No vids. Made a boatload of runs but I can't break 13.1 yet. If I spin off the line my 60s are 2.1. If I don't spin my 60s are 2.1! Through the trap I am consistently 109mph, still in third gear, and still have 1000rpm til redline. If I push it into drive it still doesn't hit fourth...

Headed back to Atlanta Dragway tomorrow night. Weather is a lot cooler, should make for better times.

Agree with Rasmus. The 5.0 is a completely different animal than the very forgiving 4.6. Some of us made big assumptions based on our experience with the 4.6 and we should have been more cautious.

Not hardly, but on the first run after the sideways excursion I feathered too much and it upshifted before I wanted it too. I'm a new guy, so all the feed back is appreciated. It will all help next time. Thanks!

That button may not be for racing but it does lock out 6th gear. Can't hurt. When I learn how to do this the car will easily drop into the 12's as is.

WILL be setting goals? I went back after the 13.1 because I wanted a 12 so bad I could taste it!
