Another great night at the track with the 5.0 Mustang Magazine Project car. The Lethal Performance 2011 5.0L Mustang GT. The crew from Lethal and UPR Products showed up to Palm Beach International Raceway for a fun night of drag racing. Hired gun, UPR's Jeremy Martorella was all fired up and ready to bang some gears. Our 2011 as it sits has a 2.9L Whipple supercharger @ 10psi, Lethal Performance 3" Offroad X-Pipe, Magnaflow 3" Competition Catback, DSS One Piece Driveshaft and a custom tune by Jon Lund of Lund Racing all done through an SCT X3 handheld programmer.

Keep in mind the car still runs the stock header manifolds and 100% STOCK suspension..

This was the first run of the evening which yielded us a 10.74@129mph with a stout 1.51 60ft time.. Yes a 1.51 60ft with stock suspension! We believe the car should run 10.50's or better however the air was very moist last night with dew on all of the cars.

We're going to take another crack at it one more time before the tear down so stay tuned.

Thanks to everyone who's involved with our car and all of our awesome customers and followers.

Whipple Superchargers, Ford Racing, UPR Products, Jeremy Martorella, Jon Lund of Lund Racing, 5.0 Mustang Magazine, Steve Turner, DSS Driveshafts, Magnaflow Performance, Bogart Racing, Mickey Thompson, SCT. Thanks for all of your support!

That's awesome! I'm really not surprised though. The stock suspension since '05 has been very "drag" friendly anyway, and with the flow numbers from that motor, even a little boost yields great results. Very nice.
