**FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE**

WHAT: 1st Annual Kruise for Kids
WHERE: Griot's Garage, Tacoma WA
WHEN: August 4, 2013
WHY: Fundraiser for Seattle Children's Hospital

Coordinated by: SuperiorStangs.com, RealPerformaceMustangs.com and The Fox Shoppe

I'm contacting you to tell you about an event we are putting on next summer (http://www.superiorstangs.com/kruiseforkids). I have spoken with Seattle Children’s Hospital’s and they have given their full support via their Corporate Giving Network. This has been something I've wanted to do for quite some time now. My family was very close with a little boy that lost his life to progeria in 2007 named Seth Cook. Ever since then, my family, especially my 11 year old cousin has been very active in raising money for Seattle Children's Hospital. She and her friend Brooke have raised upwards of $10,000 a year, donating every dime, along with their time to SCH. They have been featured on radio programs in the Seattle area and have inspired many to be aware of the care that the hospital provides. Over the past few years Superior Stangs has made some great connections and friends with others in our community that are helping to make this event a reality. We have the avenue to make a difference in the kid’s lives and I want to do my part to help make that happen.

A little bit about the event; initial planning has been conducted by some local mustang enthusiasts, but we have decided to open the event to all makes and models. It makes very little sense to not allow someone to participate just because they don't own a mustang. Also part of the initial planning was having a car "show", complete with trophies and dash plaques. We pushed that idea aside in favor of a more informal "get together". We realized that those items would take away from the bottom line and that it should be more about our goal (raising money for the kids) than who has the nicest car. So, coming to a final decision it was to be a get together, followed by a short cruise to not only raise money, but awareness of all the good things they do at Seattle Children's Hospital. We will be able to enjoy other auto enthusiasts company and contribute to a great organization.

Wanting to gain as much participation as possible, we also decided to keep it free to register. All of the funds being donated to the Hospital will come from the following;

1. PayPal donations may be made via the web site prior to the event. (http://www.superiorstangs.com/kruiseforkids)
2. Cash donations the day of the event.
3. Proceeds from raffle items, raffled at the event.

I do have a small request. We are hoping to share this with as many enthusiasts as possible. Granted, attending the event may be out of the question for those that live in other parts of the country, but we have set up a PayPal account on the web site allowing anyone to participate through donation. We ask that you would please consider being a part of this either by donating or simply sharing this with the members on your site. I think we have the opportunity to really show the compassion and generosity of our "car community".

I really do appreciate it and thank you for taking the time to read this. Please feel free to advertise this as you like. Whether you’d like to share with other forums and vendors, advertise on your main page or simply post a thread, we appreciate any very much. If you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Thanks Kimmer for allowing us to share this. Hopefully it should be a good way to get everyone together and raise a little coin for the Hospital.
