Edmunds threw a new GT500 on a Mustang Dyno, I'm impressed.

The 2010 has all the same intercooler parts since '07. Not sure how they managed more hp after all those runs, but the other years don't respond that way generally.Niiiiiiiice Bigger intercooler?
Great! with a 15% loss, that's 600 CHP.
I think the new GT500 is gorgeous, it's my current job computer background picture.
I love the comments, the GT-R is faster? Not when it's sitting in the dealers lot waiting to be pieced together for the umpteenth time and dollars for dollar the GT500 will rape the GT-R in a straight line.
I wouldn't say it would rape it in a straight line... been alot of GtR's running 11.4's 11.5's stock with the gay launching computer that takes all the skills out of the driver mod.. lol
Same basic motor. Different supercharger, different headers, throttle body, CAI, etc. And.. It's heavier than a CJ. Not even really a good comparison.surely a pulley swap is a 10 second car, its the same motor as the CJ
yes, but the GTR is about 22-25K more... he said $$ for $$, so a bit of mod $$ and the GT500 is a 10sec car....
