im wondering that if some of my issues with my shifting are because i was told my tune didnt need to be changed with the new converter. the tune i have other then a few small adjustments is the same one i had when i was on my stock converter. when you get an aftermarket converter are there adjustments in the tune that needs to be made? i was told no that it shouldnt make a difference. i would think that a stall would behave differently then stock and adjustments would need to be made... . you auto guru's please chime in.

It will need the tune changed. I ran mine for the first time today and still need some tune work. From what I see (and heard from others) the car will have touble hitting the rev limiter. Mine was doing that today.

Yep, that is what I was told also. Mine still isnt right. John at BBR told me to turn off the OD button for the first shift, then back on after. While that is hard to do while racing it worked. The negative was it short shifted 1st gear and I was running a Boss intake.

there is no overdrive button, so i don't know how you are going to turn it off.

there is a hill descent mode in the car, but that changes your shift patterns and such.

I was told me it's a big big no no when racing the car to touch the button. changes alot of parameters

I called it the OD button but it's the hill/towing button. BBR specifically told me again today to turn that off while running it in 1st gear, then back on after the shift.

from everything i've been told, it's not something you should do. i've never had to do it.

i think the guys running 9's haven't had to do it
