Im a bit confused on what the best gears will be for Autocross on the 2011 GT because of the 2.43 2nd versus the 2.00 on the older cars.
Im leaning toward 3.31 as being best....
3.55 x 2.00 (2005) @ 6250 rpm = 68.77 mph (Stock Tires)
3.73 x 2.00 (2010) @ 6500 rpm = 68.34 mph (Stock Tires)
3.31 x 2.43 (2011) @ 7000 rpm = 68.26 mph (Stock Tires)
Rear Axle Ratio for same RPM in 2nd:
2011 / 2005-2010
3.31 = 4.02
3.55 = 4.31
3.73 = 4.53
Rear Axle Ratio for same rpm 3rd in 2011 vs 2nd in 2005-2010
3.73 (3rd) = 3.15 (2nd)
