I have an 09 GT and back in Feb I ran a 12.86 and backed with a 12.91

Ran this past Friday track sucked pulled a 12.9 out of it
Mods are
Frpp CAI
Frpp 62mm TB
Frpp Intake manifold
Frpp Hotrod cams
Kooks Longtubes
Catted H pipe
Frpp Stingers
Auto with frpp 4.10 gears
93 bama tune
I feel like it should have more in it but can't seem to get it.
Is the Frpp intake Mani and TB hurting me ????
Could help me out and guide me In the right direction
Thanks guys

A low 12 can be had with a converter and some sticky 26" drag radials.
:/ I figured I could at least get a 12.6 or 12.5 out of it with out a converter
Slicks that's not problem I wanna run a drag set up wheel and tire wise anyways

What tires are you running now? Race weight?

MPH seems low on your last outing. Any different mods between now and when you ran back in February?

Don't know the Race weight
The tires are 18's 285/40/18 NT555R'S
The track was slick everyone was having a hard time
The only mod difference is I changed filters on the CAI from the Restricted one to a K&N replacement one made for that kit it breathes better now
I wouldn't think it would hurt it maybe it did

Convertor just took off 3 tenths on my buddies 06gt bolt on car. I'm impressed you were able to get your 60 ft that low on the stock convertor.

Yeah summer last year the car was always 2.0 6ft
Put the kooks LT and some SR LCA's back in October and November
Ran it in Feb and pulled the 12.8
I'm shocked I still got under a 2.0 60ft with the track being the way it was this past Friday

Yeah; silver car with busted hood and bumper is mine haha

Racing in the +1300DA in May VS the -650 DA in February has a lot to do with the time as well. That's easily a 12.7x run if the weather wasn't so humid out there after that little rain.

Yeah a 12.7 would be nice lol
Was just itching to make a few passes this past Friday. That DA didn't help that's for sure.

I don't see the point in racing when it's hot out.
Unless you're in competition. I go to the track to try to get faster and faster... I know there is a TINY chance in hell of me beating my best times in summer, so no point for me.

For a PB no doubt. Bracket racing all these years I have really seen the trends with the DA at my track. It's quite predictable. For HI a great DA is anything 1000 ft or less. 1200-1500 is the norm.
