I changed it a little bit to see what it would do. I either didn't change it enough or it didn't have a big effect.

Try and find out the weight if a similar car.

strut type front: strange single adjustable
strut type rear: strange single adjustable
wheelbase: 107.1"

best 60' to date: updated below

I know there are a lot of variables (weather, tires, track condition, driver skill, etc.) but it could be interesting to see if there's any correlation to 60' times and how the AS/IC plots. I've read lots of threads where folks list their setups generically (springs/shocks/tires/LCA position/etc.), but having the numbers to go along with it might paint a better picture.

UPDATE - I hit the test-n-tune tonight at MIR:

front OEM pirelli's set to 36psi
rear M/T ET streets set to 18psi
front struts set to +6 clicks
rear shocks set to +6 clicks

60' 1.750
330' 5.261
660' 8.175
1000' 10.690
1/4 12.814
106.36mph

backed this up with a 12.95 @ 106.54

Now time to tweak the launch RPM, strut/shock settings and tire pressure. I had an 85 mile drive home from MIR tonight, so I couldn't quite drive it like I stole it. I know there's more in this setup.

w00t! :naughty1:

Not important at this hp level . Bone stock (no suspension mods)with 312 rwhp at 3798lbs car went [email protected] mph. Let me know if you need help!!

nice!

more details on the car? what year, stick or auto, gears, wheels/tires, track conditions, etc. what was the 60' for that bone stock run? I've seen other threads/posts where you've hit 1.2x 60' but I don't think that was when it had only 312 rwhp

thanks for the info Blackblurr, I'll drop you a PM soon!

Your car is right there you just need to tweak a little bit! There is 2 more things to that I didn't that would get it down to 12. Teens 12.0's it mostly driver but tune is helpful !

no updates? c'mon gang take measurements while your car is up for the winter!

Today I mounted my gopro to the panhard bar - hope to be able to see what the suspension is doing, and watch tire spin (will put a stripe on the inside sidewall).

Broke dafuk down
I am soooo ready to weld up a set of stock struts (to correct height) and measure up my cg and get some accurate numbers... but have to quit taking it apart long enough to do that :mad2:

I think I may have just ruined my whole summer with my new plans. kinda sucks... I always seem to catch the last couple weeks of the season but maybe I like wrenching more and just don't know it

Mod disease sucks..

Here is a quick comparison, showing how crucial the rear IC/AS settings are.

The car in this video is a Brembo 2013 GT on stock tires w/35psi.

The first video is all stock geometry, with BMR UCA/UCM and BMR LCA:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=-oqn-wQrPU4

As you can see, wheel-hop is still there. I suggested that he drop the UCA down to the lower mounting position on our bracket.

The only change was lowering the UCA Mounting point 1", which shortened the IC and raised the AS%.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=LD12TIjKmow

As you can see, wheel-hop was completely eliminated.(traction was increased substantially)
Any change in the 60" time?
