First, the beauty, silverGTvert has inside painted headlamps but can't remember who dunit. Anyone have any clues? They look so cool, I have wanted to do that ever since I had my car:clap::clap:

Second, the beast, where can I find a better input shaft for Tremac 3650. I heard they were the weakest link in the 5 speeds.

As always,

Thanks

The headlight buckets are custom done. You have to bake your headlight buckets to get the plastic cover off, then you paint the bucket and put the cover back on. It's a little hard for some to do, and if you screw it up which is very likely you'll need some new headlights.

liberty makes a input shaft for the tranny, but youll need a new clutch as well. Josh@pmp did this swap but it was not cheap. Ended up having to buy a $400 bearing set to rebuild the transmission for one bearing. Tremec seems to not want to sell individual parts

Glad you liked the lights. A guy offered to do them on TMS a couple years ago but I have long since lost his contact info. I do know he said the headlights were a pain but he backed and then had to cut away the casings and reglure them back together.

2786 to go.

Pretty sure Mr. Roper got a set of lights from that same guy. He may have his contact info.

:shock:Going to do a new clutch anyway, but I find it hard to believe you can't find a bearing to do the transformation.
