Just got home from the track. I ran on my 18in wheels with ET.streets tonight and ran a 12.80 @110 and a 12.75 @ 108 .

The 12.75 reads like this.

60 ft - 1.804
330ft - 5.317
1/8 - 8.187
MPH - 85.84
1000ft-10.677
1/4 - 12.75
MPH - 108.03

Not the fastest on here but it's getting better.

Always good to see improvement! And nothing wrong with running 12's. Great trap speed for the minimal mods.

You might not be the quickest but your far from the slowest. Nice times and your car looks great also.

Good job Chad. Still think there is more there, conditions not perfect by far. The wind yesterday was just stupid! I really feel with a small adjustment you should be in the 12.60's or better. Get the 60' where it needs to be and your mint! Again good job.

I need more torque down low. I'm having to slide the clutch to keep the power up. I tryed side stepping the cluch at 6000 and the 60ft went to a 1.94 so i went back to sliding it.I even ran the ET streets at 28 psi.

Would I benefit from installing the delete plates? If so ,what are they good for, power wise? Also Dave told about a short belt, any body useing one,and did it help?

The delete plates will help very little, but the little things add up. You will gain around 5 HP and you will lose a few lbs. I did not notice a torque loss without them. No need to buy delete plates. Have someone weld up the holes in your stock plates.

I was watching the video and the one of the white s197... i was wondering... are you guys burning out in the water? Usualy i just tap the gas pedal going through the water to get the mess off the tires then pull outta it and heat the tires up. Just my 2cents.

I drive into the water and do a quick rotation to get the tires wet. I then pull to the edge of the water and do a 2nd gear powerbrake until I see smoke and then power out.

Yah , I do the main part of the burn out in the water just mainly to save the tires as much as posible, then power out 30ft or so. Hooking up is not the problem. If it dead hooks,it bogs so i come out hard slipping the clutch and the tires to keep the power up and gear it down ,if you will. I just need more power or more gear. The vidio you watched was on my old Nittos and big&littles. The 12.75 was on my 18s and ET streets.
