My Dad is getting out of racing and is selling his Solo II CP class cars. I know we have a large group of racers and texans on this forum, so hopefully we can find these a good home.

First one is (was) a 79 Pace car "Ferris Equine":

Very well developed CP car, winner of many national championships. New motor in 2015. Comes with two sets of wheels and a selection of shocks and sway bars.

Also available with purchase of car is a fully equipped 24' enclosed car hauler and 2006 E350 6.0L diesel tow vehicle.

Next one is an 88 coupe:

Very solid Mustang coupe built in 2004. New EFI motor in 2015. Solid cage, seam welded body, torque arm rear suspension, modified strut front suspension.

Chassis:
-2750lbs (with 50lbs of ballast)
-Relocated radiator to trunk for better weight distribution
-Unibody seams welded, roll cage, two race seats w/ 5 point harnesses
-Reinforced subframes with subframe connectors

Front suspension:
-Modified MacStrut
-Selection of sway bars
-Koni double adjustable struts
-2004 GT spindles and dual piston calipers
-16x12 wheels

Engine:
-short block: Production block, custom balanced iron crank, forged rods & pistons
-110 Octane fuel required
-Heads: Edlebrock 185cc CNC w/ stabilized adjustable valve train
-custom EFI intake
-Ford hydraulic roller w/ fast bleed lifters
-Ford ECU w/ tweeter and MSD ignition
-estimated power is 500HP/ 450lb-ft @ 7000 RPM

Transmission:
-modified Ford T5 w/ quartermaster vDrive 5.5" clutch
-hydraulic throwout
-custom driveshaft

Rear suspension:
Globalwest TracLink torque arm
-Koni double adjustable shocks
-Global West control arms
-custom packed Ford Trac-Loc differential w/ 4.10 gears
-16"x12" wheels

Holy cow! I bet either one of these would make an awesome track day car! Wish I had a few fat stacks sitting around.

They do! I've gotten to run both of them over the years and I still get sweaty palms thinking about seat time in them.
