Since many don't got to SVTP - I am bogarting this post
That thing does look nicely designed. I have the KR shifter right now, and was thinking about replacing the bushings, but now I'm not sure.
Thanks Dave for posting this, gonna email George right now.
You gonna put one in the Shelby? Looks good.
Yes sir. It needs a shifter in the worst way.
If I have trouble with my steeda, we have a winner.
I have one of these about to go in. Will keep you guys updated!
You guys are going to pee in your pants a little when you see ours in about a month.
^ u sure about only 1 month?
The group buy will be I a month or so. We will be releasing pictures, etc then. It's awesome!
I currently have the MGW gen1, thinking of giving the gem 2 a try. I'm curious why instead of mounting the rear of the shifter to the body why they don't come up with a bracket that holds it off the back of the transmission so it's all connected to the transmission only?
<<<<< I wonder who has a shifter like that.
Well then, you should send me one for R&D purposes vs a MGW!
The Blowfish bracket tried that on the MT-82 and it works but vibration is greatly increased since the entire assembly is on the end of a giant lever bolted tightly to the bell housing. You will be much happier with the MGW.
I have never seen a blowfish up close. I can speculate on the vibration issues.
Ours vibrates no more than a T56 Magunum. And shifts as good if not better. We used the Magnum as our target during the design process.
We guarantee it will be the best shifting 6060 shifter the customer has ever shifted, or their money back. Anyone else making that gauantee?
R&D is done. And I already know it's better.
How many MGW shifters have you used? I've owned 3 plus the T56 Magnum.
What kinda cost you expecting and how long before we can get some details!
I couldn't even put a number on it. A lot. I'm not suggesting the MGW is bad in any way. It's just compromised because it is still attached to the tunnel.
I honestly deep down think it's better than the Magnum. The rubber doughnut in the shift lever gives it a spongy feel.
Every person that has used our shifter has been blown away. Donnie Walsh loved it. And Donnie knows a thing it two about rowing gears, and transmissions.
It has a money back guarantee. The customer has nothing to lose.
There is a "sport" and "race" version. The Sport will come in at the MGW price point. The Race one will be I think $150 more. The Race version is more because we use a high dollar precision U Joint that is big bucks.
The Sport is still better shifting than anything else. The race is just plain silly good.
I will post pics and put them up for sale in about a month.
