I got this idea from another board member here and decided to give it a try.

1. Purchased a Hurst handle and boot retainer from ebay
2. Bought a piece of 5/8 roundbar $3.00 a foot
3. Figured out the dimensions I wanted
4. Took everything to my buddies hot rod shop for fabrication

This is the end result. The throw is alittle longer because the handle is longer than the MGW shaft and ball but I like it and I can always adjust the throw on the bottom end of the MGW shifter. <!-- / message --><!-- attachments -->

Awesome. I was thinking of doing something similar with the exact same shift knob. Looks great.

I just did the Hurst T-Handle with link on it. Works nice, just not as comfortable as on my Chevelle, you can't get your hand around it because of the boot. The stop shifter on the MDW felt better.
