I like it LOW
My ignition switch doesn't always recognize there's a key in the ignition. I've never had a problem with it starting or anything, but it doesn't always make the dinging sound. Most ignition switch issues I've found are a no start or won't release key, or some similar issue.
I can move the key in the column and it will recognize it and the dinging sound starts, but stops when I let go sometimes, sometimes not.
Which part of the ignition switch controls that feature? Do I need a new cylinder, or just the switch? Is this something I can take apart and clean the contacts or just a worn out part?
