I don't have the car anymore, but it held up fine. As long as it doesn't get gouged or rub up against anything it stays like new. If that happens, it's just a quick touch up job and usually blends pretty well. My HU always rubbed on the underhood liner, though.

Is this to enable 8 rib belt or is there a performance reason to go with this? So the water pump pulley will improve cooling?

Its for better belt wrap and also increasing boost.
