I got a 97 TJ in black, haven't really went to far off road with it though.

This was shortly after I got it. I've since put different wheels on it, removed the stickers on the side and took the spare tire and third brake light off the back. Need to take an updated picture of it.

Ideally I would like to find a 2006 Unlimited.

I have a 1994 XJ Cherokee I have owned for 7 years. I use to LOVE off roading but since my Mustang came around my Cherokee has became basically a mall crawler :( only goes out in the weather I wouldn't take my Mustang in. Has 179K miles on it. 3 inch lift and 30 tires on it. Its great little jeep. Last big off road adventure I had was last January, first and only time got it really stuck and got 3 quarts of water into the engine. Not through the intake but the leaking gaskets it all seeped in, EXTEMLY lucky did not hydrolock the engine, 4.0L is great! But destroyed almost all my under hood sensors and destroyed my cat. Took me 3 months and 1200 dollars to get it reliable again. But since then think did do some internal damage as went from 14 MPG to 10-12 now.

Now my wife took me to Arizona for my birthday and rented us a 2013 iguana green rubicon wrangler with the 3.6L to rock climb with it. That jeep is so far superior to my little XJ made me really want one, it had a 2 inch spacers and 32 inch tires was it and that was a straight factory beast. Got me into off roading for a short time again but I just lose intrest quickly once I get back into my Mustang. But I still do wish I can get a new JK 3.6L as a 2nd car!
