What is the benefit of running RXT over RST in a gt500 street car with 580 crank HP

The RXT is made with a ceramic material as opposed to the organic material used on the RST. The ceramic will hold up much better to heat and abuse then the RST. So if you take your car to the track with an RST it's possible depending on how you drive it to heat it up so much that you could damage the clutch. The RXT though can be beaten on and driven hard without any issues.

You've also got a lot more room to grow into it as well unlike the RST that you could easily grow out of.

The RXT drives just as smooth as the RST and has very light pedal feel to it. So it's just as streetable as the RST. For the extra $200.00 my opinion is to go with the RXT and never have to worry about it again.
