It's a hood vent from a 2014-17 camaro z28. I kid you not! Looks better on the mustang imo. 
Had to cut the rear most vent to clear the whipple, no biggie, the vent was $49 on amazon. I used strips of aluminum from Lowes to sandwich it to the roof. Not the prettiest solution, but it works. They also make a rain tray for this that does the same thing as my aluminum strips, but that restricts the heat extraction by a bunch.
