So as most know a clogged cat caused my motor to give out. So in light of having to rebuild it's going to have a built bottom end now.

(List of new parts... Not including all the other stuff I already have)

4.6L Iron Block
Kellog Cobra Crank
Scat Rods
JE Pistons 8.8:1
ARP fasteners
GT500 Oil Pump, TSS Gears o-ring mod...

(After everything is running good)

A clogged converter, has led to the demise of many an engine but way to jump back into it! Looks like you have a pretty good "ACT II."

Bruce are those heads early production 3V heads which use HT design spark plugs or the later production that use the one piece spark plug design?

Is it really a common issue of clogged cats killing motors? I have heard of one or two here, but honestly, don't know the story behind what happened in either case.

My Kook's HF Cats had 1000 miles on them. Both sides gave out. I think they are crap!!!

Sucks, were you running boost, or N/A?

I had a buddy blow an ARH cat through his muffler while revving at the line, guess he lucked out.
