I'm new to this component deal, but I have a set that I don't want to go to waste. Nothing fancy; Pionner TS-D720C. 6.75 woofer with a tweeter.
I want to place them in the location in the pic below.
I've been doing some searching and I haven't seen anyone do this. I'm thinking that the distance from the woofer may be a reason for this. I've read where you don't want the tweeter to be more than a foot away. This is about a foot and a half, but would be perfect and not interfere with my gauge pods that are in the A-pillar. Anyone know if this is "safe"?
Plan B is to place them lower, like this:
I'm sure I can get away with this, I just think plan A is much cooler.
If anyone can point me in the right direction, it would be most appreciated. Thanks!
