New audiophile speakers installed!

And man, what a difference! Found them online and they are factory Ford speakers that come in cars with the audiophile system and they have a much higher quality construction and way better sound quality! For $4.16 per speaker they are a steal!

Yes, I bought 4 of them and replaced one in each door and the two in the rear package tray. Total for this mod including shipping: $21.00!

Damn, for that price it's almost worth going with them over other high end speakers. The audiofile speakers do sound pretty good for stock.

Not sure, i'll have to check mine out on my 500 system.

The audiophile speakers did not come on ANY Shaker system. I have the 500 and I got the crappy paper cone ones. You have to get them from a Lincoln system, or a high end Ford system found in Edges, Tauruses, etc.

Well, the reason I got them was because I was reading over on teamshelby.com and one of the GT500 guys got them and he was commenting how great they sounded. I got them from Parts Express, but they are all out of stock and I doubt they are getting more as it was a "special buy". I did see a few people selling them on Ebay.
