12.10@112 New best NA with stock internals and an odd surprise...

Finally got some good air again, and had issues with knock sensors fixed. new best ALL MOTOR
12.10
12.11
12.13
12.15 all at 112mph. I'll post full slips when I get home later.
This is a 2010 with only spare /jack /swaybar removal @ 3700lbs on 18s. 305/40/18 nitto 555r's. 1.67-1.68 60ft. -1250dA didn't hurt either. Well my nittos are 27.7 in tall.....so the age old theory of 26in tire and 4.10s comes to mind. I borrow my friends 275/40/17 m/t drag radials and swap em real qwick and go SLOWER

Same 60ft but slowed across the board! Bolted my 18s back on and boom 112+mph again. Who'd ever guess that??

The taller tire will allow you to mph more....

However, those are nice times!

Generally a 4.10 and 26" tire will work well.

However, when running nitrous, gearing like that is not needed. With that taller tire, you are taking advantage of you large TQ curve with the nitrous. (Nitrous makes more torque, in the lower RPM range)

The more TQ you have entering the next gear, the faster your trap speed will be. Assuming a combo like yours.

Great job. Now go get some 11's!

I think he is already in the 11's or 10's on the spray. These are N/A runs lol. The car is pretty sick. I love the way it leaves the line.

Good job Kip. Maybe I can get out to the track this week end.

Outstanding Kip.
Looks like those LT o/r H exhaust did get you more mph across the board. Where I come form more speed across the board means better acceleration and et. On, 27.7" nittos ha ha haaaa.

Were these runs at NPR?

runs were at NPR. (ADDED SLIP UP TOP) yeah, at first it seemed headers were worth maybe 1mph but i finally datalogged it at the track and saw my knock sensors were pulling timing from 5000rpm in 3rd gear up. it was false knock from the l/ts. we turned them off and it gained maybe .05 in qtr but prolly another solid 1mph. i havent dynoed with the headers but id bet a 15-20rwhp gain from them. were the hell you been hiding old man?? check out my nitrous post. 11.09 @121 finally gettin her closer to my goals

Between work...coaching football, season finally over, now hunting. starting to get the bug for some track runs but need to get my clucth situation in order. I use the same Slave cylinder that was in the car last year when the other clutch went south at SCR. Put the Spec in but still think I should have installed a new slave. Inconsistant pedal clutch release points got me thinking. sometimes its half way out other times 3/4 way out on pedal. Stopping by Alan Masson shop here in Slidell and se if he can trouble shoot it.
