Depending on the opening into the Whipple you may need to do some minor porting on the blower inlet.

also if the blades clear but the screw holes dont line up you cna RTV silicone it to the intake on the whipple. it should hold for testing purposes till you get the holes to line up. i wouldnt leave it that way though haha

I'm drilling/enlarging the GT500 mounting holes to the GT TB specs.. Its the ghetto way with a drill and a dremel but looks are not what matters to me.. I'm all about the go. who cares about the show..

Be interesting to see this. We need the Filter/Air Meter from them for Rons car. Getting a larger TB than the GT500 and one that works with the KB setup without modification would be great.

Hey Mark, I was following your turbo build-up before things got crazy at .... I see you sold the turbo, if you don't mind sharing why? I was thinking you would be making 10 second runs by now.

The car was running 10's at 15 psi. At 22, it would have seen a 9. If I was making a track car, I would have kept it. My goal from the beginning was a full weight DD capable of a 9 sec pass. I was not able to achive those goals on a turbo. The 9 sec part was easy, the DD part was near impossible for me. I still like the turbo for the track but for a street car, I don't like turbos over the 12 psi range and ran inito serious driveability and heating issues.

I am going KB very soon.

(and mine will be at 24 psi...lol)

NCBLACK has already used the "top secret" throttle body and intake. He got like 75hp out of the swap. He also had his TB sieze up on the first street drive and had to retro a BBK onto it. Hope you have better luck.
