Been a lurker on here for a couple of weeks now, finally got around to registering today though. I picked up a 2010 Brilliant Silver GT base model with 3.73s about 6 weeks ago to replace my 2007 Mazdaspeed 3 GT.
It's been interesting getting used to the different dynamics between the 2 cars. Both of which have their perks, and then their downfalls. However, the Mustang is a better platform for me considering what goals I have in store for the car. It's also nice not to have to deal with wheel hop, not having traction, and wondering when a rod is going to make a speedy exit out the front of the block, or the turbo explodes and sends shrapnel out the exhaust.
I miss a lot of things about it, but from a modding and financial standpoint, I'm far better off. However, those trips to home depot sure are not as easy as they used to be.
The old ride.
The new ride.
