Just ordered a set of 255/60r15s from Summit for $189/ea. I'm hopeful, should be able to report back in a few weeks or so.

I'm on the old radials in 17" and have been able to cut a 1.67 with my stick car.

I've been kicking around purchasing a pair of the R series DR's. Currently running the ET SR II series 295/45/17's. Still some meat on them and made several 1.6X 60fts with them but looking for 1.5X to find that elusive 10.99 before I turn it up a bit more. I've been kicking around 15x10 vs 17x9.5 since I have both rims in the garage. MT tech stated I would not pick up much running a 325/50/15 on a 10.5 vice running a 305/45/17 on the 9.5 rim. So I'm not sure. The 15's are cheaper but then I need to do a relocation change which for me would be the Whiteline rear sway bar package and not the relocation brackets since 11+ cars have a larger diameter sway bar on them and rub the factory LCA mount which then requires grinding. Sorry but grinding to make anything fit in that perspective is jury rigging in my book regardless of whether or not its acceptable modification. So I'm up in the air on which way to go. Love the SS and thinking about that as my daily driver after the rear Nitto 555's see one last season of normal driving.
