The weather was beautiful today, nice and cool and not a cloud in the sky. I wanted to test out how the new wheels/tires would do (Race Star 15x3.75 front and 15x8 in rear on Nitto 555r). Before today, my best was a 12.61 @ 108. That was in immaculate weather and better conditions all around than even today.

60' - 1.880
330 - 5.264
1/8 - 8.070
mph - 87.77
1000 - 10.513
1/4 - 12.575
mph - 109.16

60' - 1.876
330 - 5.244
1/8 - 8.038
mph - 88.12
1000 - 10.469
1/4 - 12.522
mph - 109.58

And my best run of the night...
60' - 1.844
330 - 5.213
1/8 - 8.008
mph - 88.06
1000 - 10.442
1/4 - 12.497
mph - 109.52

I was spinning a bit off the line and during the 1-2 shift (it's an auto so I get what I get). I ran my best with the rears down to 21 psi. I went down to 18 psi as it was getting cooler and I spun about the same off the line and even worse during the 1-2 shift.

Does anyone know how low you can go with air pressure in the Nitto 555r?

Thanks all!

Killr3v - Will you be going to Sealy or HRP?

D98GT - Were you at HRP yesterday? I saw a 2011 Kona Blue GT out there but I don't think it was on tire...looked stock.

No sir, wasn't me but I did see on some other forum that there was going to be a stock one out there from the Houston area. Believe he had the 19" rims
