New PB with 4r70w

The car is 06' with a KB @18 psi through a 4r70w. I made 5 passes, most of them 6.8 in the 1/8th at 99.xx mph. 60' started at 1.50 and got down to 1.47 I think. I was raising the 2 step a couple 200 at a time trying to find the magic number. This was on a Wednesday night in Sacramento on a no prep track. So I'm pretty happy getting into the 1.4s in those conditions.

I believe my MPH was down because of higher IAT's, I wasn't letting the car cool between passes too much and a lack of traction in 1st and 2nd. I had good bite off of the line and for the first 40' or so but from there through 2nd I was spinning enough to feel it.

Made it to the finals and I waited for them to call my lane and they did not. They just ran whomever rolled back around for a hot lap so I was shit out luck. I asked the guy about it and they didn't seem to care too much.

That's awesome. Do you have any video from the side? I want a better view of how much air is under those front tires.

The tires popped up pretty good, I was actually surprised especially on a Wednesday.
