With all the rain in SoCal lately my nearly worn out (40K miles) BF Goodrich Comp 2 UHP summer tires were providing a bit too much in the way of thrills. So on with a set of new Michelins!

Which ones do you get?

I have Pilot Sport 4S on my A4. Great tires.

On my 05’ I run Nitto NT555 and super happy.

Yup, that’s the same tire I fitted, Pilot Sport 4S. So far they feel great. Besides aquaplaning, the worn out BF Goodriches I had on there were tram-lining pretty bad in the dry on grooved/patched pavement.

I think I'm getting ready to purchase a couple of the 4S's in 295/45/18. They are going to be a 1/2" shorter than what I'm really looking but times are tough.

Based on reading Tire Rack reviews I expected the Michelins to be a little nicer riding. Come to find out they were all inflated to 40 PSI by the installer (Costco). Door jamb says 35PSI. I corrected them all and am looking forward to some additional impressions.
