I've been monitoring the this site and wanted to introduce my self. This was completely stock GT with 10500 miles was purchased for use as a daily driver December 9, 2009 and only say 1 day down during the mods. I started muscle car's in the early 80's but moved over to the Porsche side for the past several years. After a 4 years of build of a Porsche track car I sold it after moving to FL (no AC). With the Mustang I didn't want to take too long on the build so parts were being delivered prior to my receipt of the car. Some may question the color, Legend Lime. You either hate it or love it. For me, it brings back the heritage of Mustangs of the late 60's. My goal is to have a stock'ish looking stang with a bit of performance.
Thus far the mods I can remember are:
Engine Drive Train:
Whipple / FFRP HO
PA Deep Trans Pan
FFRP Rear Girdle
Morosso A/T Catch can/breather
Tune (race and street) by Paul Meister at Torq in Miramar, FL.
Interior:
PLX DM 100 - Boost, Trans Temp and Oil Temp
PLX DM 5 - A/F
Suspension:
Eibach Pro Springs
D-Spec Struts & Shocks
J&M Caster/Camber plates
Steeda Pan Hard Bar & Brace
BBR LCA & Relocation Bracket
Exterior:
GT 500 Splitter
Honeycomb Rear Panel and Lower Grill insert
Sequential Taillights
Wheels:
AR Shelby Billet 18x10 (R) & 18x 9 (F) on Nitto 555's.
Brakes:
OEM is fine, just added Hawk pads, DOT 4 Blue and Stainless lines
The car is a daily driver that will see track use occasionally. Torq in Miramar did the tuning with a daily driver and race tune. Both being conservative, but giving a little more on the race tune.
As anticipated, the MILF put down 453 RWHP & 414 RWT on a Mustang Dyno.
