OEM Lexus RX350 headlight came in for a clean up of water spots and resealing to stop future leaks. As some may know, these had a history of leaks.
Opened the ballast cover, and water poured out.
After years of problems, the inner lens have visible water damage and stress cracks. Recommended fix: lens replacement. Or at the very least, a polish for the interior portion of the lens, and a wet sand, buff, polish, and re-clear of the exterior portion of the lens.
Customer was only worried about stopping future water leaks. Lens were fully cleaned using a minor cleaner, and exterior were sand and polished. Headlights were resealed with much more sealant than what was included from factory.
