So I finally got around to do paint correction, and detailing of my truck I bought. For those who don't know it is a 2001 F150 Lariat Supercrew Off-road 4x4 with the 5.4 triton motor and 3.55 rear end.
I washed and degreased the truck using Chemical Guys citrus wash, citrus gel, and Diablo gel. I wet sanded a few spots to get scratches and other things out. I then buffed using meguiars 105 with a yellow pad on speeds between 4 and 5. I then used meguiars 205 with a white pad on a speed of 4 with applying different amounts of pressures. Then I used 2 coats of Chemical Guys black light on a black pad on a speed of 3. Then I applied 2 coats of Chemical Guys jet seal with a red pad on speed 3. For a 2001 with original paint and 170,000 miles, I do not think it could have turned out better.
