Performance shops around Raleigh, NC

I have a friend that is a big car nut and has a 2003 gt that has been down with getting a turbo build. He has been offered a job in Raleigh and is moving Jan 1st. He was wondering what good shops were within a 5 hour of Raleigh that can assist him finishing his ride up. I figured I would ask here since we have plenty of folks floating around all over and have some real experience with tuners in the area.

Let me know who is good and can be trusted as im not familiar with tuners at all from that area.

Blake Holcomb just built me a hell of a short block. Look up Piedmont Custom Motorsports (and Holcomb Motorsports) in that area.

I'm from the Raleigh area and have never been a fan of fastlane.

If you want close by check out PCM in Raleigh, my buddy use to work there before he went to the bmw world. lol

I haven't had any work done there personally but Competition Auto in Spring Lake has been really friendly and easy to talk to. I have heard good things about them.
