Plasti-dip chrome bumper?

Hey guys, Id like to paint the chrome bumper on my 2001 GMC Sierra (DD) black to match the body colour. Has anyone used plasti-dip to paint over chrome?
If so how well did it work and stay on?

It will stay on fine, people do it over chrome rims.

Of course, it peels right off that is one of the best parts about it.

These are polished aluminum, not chrome. I screwed up on the first wheel and didn't score along the edge of the tape before removing it so the edge peeled up. I pulled the plasti dip off rather than trying to fix the buggered edge. Should give you an idea how easy it is to remove, although it's quite durable and will last a long time if you don't pick at the edges.
