Got some new 2 pc. DBA slotted rotors about 2 months ago and finally go a chance to put them on. The cross drilled ones on the car started to develop some cracks so I thought it was best to replace them.
The New DBAs
Old Disc getting ready to take off
Caliper Removed - Two 15MM bolts on the back side, very easy to get off, getting back on was a bit more of a challenge, as you don't have a lot of room to use the torque wrench - 85 ft/lbs required. Once the bolts are removed, Jiggle the caliper top to bottom to loosen off the disc. Then hang the caliper using some zip ties or bungi cords to keep the pressure off the lines.
New Disc on, just slides right on.
Caliper reinstalled -slip the rotor between the pads and center it up to the bolt holes. Once we had the bolts in, we took on out at a time, added some blue loctite and then reinstalled. Bolted up and torqued
