I got down to around 15-16 psi. I was gonna start playing with different pressures but began to question why I was making myself crazy and stressing about chasing a number and to what end? I was taking it way too serious for a hobby that took my to the track maybe 10 times a year.
I sold the drag tires shortly after that and bought a set of 19's and just went toward a really nice driving and handling street car. Was much more enjoyable for me. Then I decided to sell the car. Haven't got back into a Mustang yet. Not sure if I'm gonna. I bought a Pinto. Looking to make it a 90% street car/5% show/5% race car. Emphasis on street. If I can't drive it and have fun on the street, why have anything.
I was running 17x9.5 Racestars with 295/45R17 Mickey Thompsons.
