Palmetto State Armory 16" midlength 5.56 1:7. I got it as a kit, entry level gun but I am happy with it. Son-in-law and I are going to the range Saturday.

I went to the gun shop with the intention of buying this . . .

but when I got there I just couldn't let this just sit there in the long gun rack

Semi-auto only, shown with the 10-round stick, plus a 10-round drum, both compliant with NJ's 15-round limit. Some other guy in the store at the time asked me if I owned a '31 Ford and knew some girl named 'Bonnie'

I haven't told my son about either of these yet. Hell, he doesn't even know I actually bought the pistol before this one. Just gonna drop all three surprises on him when he gets in this weekend.

    Just built an AR (mostly).
    • Anderson stripped lower
    • ALG advanced combat trigger
    • AR Stoner LPK
    • Aero Precision assembled upper
    • Aero Precision buffer tube assembly
    • Toolcraft black nitride BCG
    • Radian Raptor charging handle
    • Magpul MBUS
    • Magpul CTR buttstock
    • Ergo tactical deluxe grip
I feel it's a pretty decent setup for under $850. Now I just need to figure out what kind of optic to get.

I'm glad I got mine outside such a restrictive state... my drum holds far far more rounds...

Picked up a Millett DMS-2 and mounted it on a cheapo eBay mount. The mount seems decent enough. Just gotta go fire the damn thing now.

Kitchen floor is way down on the list of projects, partly because OF those other projects.

Like this floor in 8x8 tile better? It's almost as new as the on-topic item (which I've only put ~90 rounds through, receiver is not stamped steel; it is NJ-compliant including the 15 round magazine).

Got it for $65 from a coworker. Couldn't give him the money and take possession fast enough when he told me his asking price.

You'll find the Marlin to be a very nice shooting rifle.

    You mean like this?

Can't discharge a firearm in my county so, have to use an air/CO2 rifle to do the job.

I agree! Love these Marlins. I have a couple Model 60s, but not a semi auto version. This one just fell into my lap, pristine condition, excellent shooter just like it's bolt action brethren.

That's why you get one of these, lol
    [IMG]

it also fits on my 17hmr savage bolt gun
    [IMG]

The 17 is still a little loud, even 1 shot, you'd know it was gunfire. That can on my p22 is super quiet, even with standard load 22lr. 22 quiets are noticeably quieter, but it wont cycle the action all the time. All you hear is the action and the bullet hitting the ground/target/whatever.

Get the 22LR subsonic rounds, at 980fps they are a good deal quieter than the 1250fps rounds and will cycle the action just fine.
