:beerdrink: Very nice!!! Looks amazing!! Where did you get the tile? Looks like the stuff we produce at Florida Tile.

The white mosaic tile came from Costco. (only $5 per sq/ft!)

The shower and floor tile came from Floor & Decor here in Phoenix.

Paul how much did you spend on that bathroom renovation?

It was around thirteen grand when all was said and done. About half parts and half labor. It was a lot of money, but well worth in the end. I enjoy the hell outta that shower. It's phenomenal.

Plus, we have so much more usable storage space now with the big medicine cabinets and the nice drawers. Everything is neat and clean and organized, just the way I like it.

Today I removed the master bedroom bath sink and vanity and filled-in the holes that I found in the walls.

New kitchen cabinets and bath vanities are being delivered Thursday with install starting Friday.

The last pic also shows my way of capping off the piping so it doesn't leak, since it WAS leaking if left open when using the sink in the other bathroom, on the other side of that wall.

Once dry, I'll sand the area smooth and paint it in the same color as what's above that mess right now

Sucks that they used a glue trap right there. If your new sink doesn't have the same dimensions then you're going to end up cutting all of that out and putting on a new p-trap.

But your work looks great!

Thanks and yeah, I'm expecting that I'll have to change some of the PVC piping / p-trap.
Same thing with the kitchen sink piping and most likely the sink in the other bathroom ...

Yesterday I bought a slip-on tub spout to that I can use the tub to wash dishes/whatever during the time when all the sinks will be un-usable. Otherwise, the only other flowing water would've been from the shower

Today I rented a floor maintainer from Home Depot with their hex head with carbide bits to remove all the old glue residue from the kitchen floor where there used to be linoleum.

Made a mess but the shop vac cleaned it right up and I'm left with a perfectly smooth floor for the new vinyl tile due to be installed soon.

The before and after:

Very cool. Looks like that saved you hours of scraping.

Oh fukc yeah it did.
In the "before" pic on the bottom right there's a rectangle area that I did by hand, about 1'x2', it took me about 1.5-2 hrs I think ...

The whole kitchen floor today took about 2-2.5 hrs

Today I went back to the sink/vanity area in the master bedroom, sanded the walls about as smooth as I care to get them, and painted the area.
The wavy areas should be covered by the new sink and side splash panels.
I'm a firm believer that where there's a will, there's a way :)

Big difference from the mess a few posts up, lol

Just received the new cabinets. I kinda wish they weren't all boxed up so I could show them off a little more, but at least they should be in good shape by being shipped like this.
Install starting tomorrow :D

Some of the cabinets, the tall one is the new pantry, it barely fit into the elevator and into the condo, lol

Who knows where to get polished tile online that has pretty good prices? Went to the tile shop yesterday and found some tile but don't really want to pay the prices they have

Finally see the light at the end of the tunnel on my garage project. I started this last year and just kinda got unmotivated it on it for a while and now finally getting faith in it again....

Day I bought the house.

Let the fun begin

And then today....

Almost done with sheet rock. Then buying a new door and opener and getting rid of the used one I have been using. The hole in the sheet rock in the back of the room is for an exterior door that is getting put in this weekend leading to the back yard.
I know it isn't much but this is my first house and Just happy I am glad to be able to do all of this work myself.

and that horrible seam that was in the vinyl siding to the left of the garage door is gone. I ended up buying new siding to go on the front of that section of the house. Luckily with some elbow grease and bleach it ended up matching the old.

Also that little tree/shrub that is underneath the far window to the left.... No one told me it was a Japanese maple tree and I cut it down and burnt it..... I felt like an idiot when my neighbor told me what it was and how much it was worth.

That's some good stuff ... I'd love to have a garage .... maybe in the next place ... I think I'm not gonna be in this condo much longer, I'd love to have my own house, 2-car garage and all ... :)

Nice little house. I kind of liked that carport overhang. Gave it personality. Now plant some trees. ;-)

OK, so the word around the building department is that I'm an over-achiever, but I started with a whole house radiant floor heating system. That required removing everything that was sitting on the floor to raise it about 1 3/4". Both bathrooms ended up ripped to the studs, and most everything else is being redone.

I started with the living room / dining room / kitchen and added the log siding. The fireplace was red brick and just wasn't cutting it.

The spare bathroom was next and it turned out to be the girlfriends favorite room. Everything that's wood (except the paneling and door) I made. I need to finish the cabinet doors just like the ones under the tub when I get the rest of the place buttoned up.

I'm still finishing up the master bath, having removed the tub and converted to a shower stall. A couple of cabinets will get tucked into the corner above and below the tile stripe.

This is all 5 layers of the flooring. Look around your place and imagine doing every square inch of the floor like this.

^^^ That's some beautiful work there. I would love to eliminate my tub in the master bath and go shower only but my only other bathroom is a half bath and not having a tub in the house kills resale. :(
