Hey all ! So I just installed my new Barton short throw today, and when I removed my center console I noticed this plug. Anyone know what it goes to ? It is a 06' GT premium with mycolor and the shaker500 system.

Might be the connector for the optional ambiant lighting.

I believe it's the lighting plug for the auto shifter base. Powers up the P R N D 3 2 1

It is definitely the auto selector connection for the 5R55 option. I used that to provide the (dimmable) cluster lighting and 12vdc to my dash mounted triple gauge setup on the 2005.

C307 is the connector name in the prints.

That wasnt an option until 08, it would be nice if it was though. I would buy the new console and it would be plug and play.

thats a good idea ! i can use that to wire up some ambient lights. do you by chance remember which wires on the connector you tapped into ?

That was 8 years ago. I had the paper tech manuals with wire schems I went by then. Going by the on line schems violet w/gray is for the light cluster on the dimmer (pin 4), and ground is black w yellow (pin 1).
