What size tires will fit the stock 18" polished bullit wheels? I need to buy new tires for my fiance' but I would like to upgrade from the stock BFG's. Thanks.

Will 225/55 fit? I found a great deal on some Pirelli's but that's the size.

they are a bit narrow for a 8.5" rim. specs say 6-8" approved rim size, they are also about 1/2" taller then stock.... IMHO... not a good choice.

How wide is that rim? I put 285/40/18 on a 18x9 rim..........works and looks great!

Front rims are 18x8 and went with 255/45/18.

I have 275/40 im putting on mine as soon as a place will do it, many places have denied me because its "not the approved" rim width...

haha thats funny you ask for a tire size and then get a set that are not what anyone suggested and way too narrow for an 8.5 inch rim.:bravo:

So I was wrong in getting the exact size tire that was on the rim from the factory? Fuck off.

a friend of mine is runnin 285s on the rear and it looks pretty good. i like some side bulge while keeping the fronts stock... if someone wanted to hang the twistys, prolly wouldnt be bad runnin them all the way around.

if your friend is running those on the stock 18" he's running a big risk, they are way too big for a 8.5" rim
