What tire for a 18x5 wheel????

I want a tire that is between 28-29" tall. What are my choices and has anyone seen it done? I havent, all i have found is 26" tires. I did find a 225 60 18 and it is recommended for a 6-8 wheel. Im just curious if they will fit, look right, and handle a straight line well. Please help.

I exhausted a lot of time looking for a cheap regular tire that was that tall and skinny, I had no luck and ended up getting a 28" skinny radial. I was looking for a 17" rim though. IMHO a tire recommended for a 6-7" rim would fit the 5" rim though.

When I bought skinnies for my old fox body I shopped for VW Bug tires... I believe I went with a 165/50/15.

what about a 215/55R18? 10mm narrower, 27.3 inches tall.

It's closer than the 26" he said he was finding! This is an impossible task without going to front runners.
