9" wide slicks?

Yep. Don't forget, the ET Drag slicks width (unlike the ET Streets) is listed as the tread width, not the overall sidewall width like most tires.

28x9 ET Drag:
  • Measuring Rim: 8
  • Sidewall width: 10.8
  • Tread width: 8.6
  • Overall diameter: 27.3
  • Circumference: 86
So they are approximately equivalent to a 275/60-15 'metric' sized tire.

We'll Im getting a set of 10 inch wide race stars they will fit on there fine right?

They'll fit yes, but I'd go wider personally. 8.6" of contact patch isn't much.

I'm running a tire significantly wider than that (28x13.50 Hoosiers, but measure 28x11 at tread) and it doesn't rub.
